Staying Young and Healthy

One of the most important things you can do to maintain your youth and health is finding a good friend. Staying in contact and communicating with a trusting and likeminded person is immensely beneficial. The sharing of ideas and experiences opens the pathways to the brain, significantly lowers stress hormones and triggers the “relaxation response.”

When unpacking your burden to a friend, one not only feels understood and emotionally empowered but as tests have shown, it even lowers blood pressure. Since the overall health benefits are so immense, finding and keeping a good friend is one of the pillars of the Radiant Health Life Extension  Formula.

Other pillars necessary to hold back premature aging certainly include exercise, deep sleep, and the following essential vitamins/minerals found in various foods:

Beta-Carotene/Vitamin A: Carrots, Winter squash, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Romaine lettuce, Kale Apricots, Nectarines, Peaches, Swiss chard, Collards, Crab, Whitefish, Bran flakes and Tomatoes.

Vitamin C: Oranges, Grapefruit, Cantaloupe, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Asparagus, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Peppers, Fruit juices, Potato baked in skin, Strawberries, Boysenberries, Black currants and Wheat flakes.

Vitamin E: Leafy greens, 100% Whole-wheat bread, Wheat germ, Almonds, Hazelnuts, Vegetable oil, Cucumbers, Brown rice and Asparagus.

Aging is a Natural Process

Getting older doesn’t necessarily translate into poor health. Many health problems once thought to be a normal part of aging can be prevented. Learn more about aging gracefully and healthfully from the Anti-Aging Society.

Aging is something natural, the organism deteriorates and our appearance changes through the years. In spite of this, it is possible to slow down the aging process if we follow some basic steps, especially when it comes to nutrition and physical activity.

One of the first signs of aging is the appearance of wrinkles, since the collagen, that is part of the cells of the epidermis, loses its elasticity. This process is due to the action of the free radicals, which oxidizes the cells and cause aging.

To be able to keep a soft looking skin for a longer period, it is necessary to increase the consumption of essential fatty acids, such as omega 3 (fish oil). Besides this, one must also increase antioxidant vitamins or foods that contain them in abundance, such as vitamin C, E, beta-carotene, selenium, zinc and the Q10 enzyme.
